These men and women were just like any other men and women trying to get by in life during the depression. They had little money and were working two or three jobs just to stay afloat. The man at Colonial Park was asked if rich people and poor people have anything in common. Well he said yes they both breathe the same air and walk on the same earth just to do what they need to. We also have the men and women doing the hard dangerous jobs like iron worker, stone cutter, or even mill worker, just to stay alive. Most men and women were trying to work anything, but you also had the people with good jobs that were stable like store worker or butcher.
